Additional controls:
- Spectrometric inspection:
A fundamental inspection aimed at detecting the presence of any cracks or fissures within the processed material. - Magnetic Particle Inspection:
Process performed to identify surface discontinuities on the tool holder spindle. - Balancing:
Performed on Haimer Tool Dynamic balancing machines to minimize possible vibrations during use. Through this process, tool wear is reduced, and the quality and life of the spindles is increased.
Materials and Treatments
Pagnoni Tools Srl uses high-quality materials and certified treatments to manufacture its products. Each process is carried out according to high standards, capable of guaranteeing safety and durability over time. In particular, all Pagnoni Tools mandrels are subjected to case hardening and burnishing. Threads and chamfers are created after heat treatment, thus giving the products superior mechanical and technological characteristics.
HEAT TREATMENTS:
- Hardening (Carburizing) up to 58-62 HRC
- Carbonitriding
- Quench hardening
- Induction hardening
SURFACE TREATMENTS:
- Burnishing: surface treatment that provides a valid protection against oxidation and a pleasant appearance to the product
- Chemical nickel plating
- Niploy (Nickel-plating with high phosphorus content): this treatment guarantees a high resistance to corrosion, thanks to the structure of the coating and the presence of phosphorus
- Special anti-friction coatings (metal to metal)
FINAL MARKING AND CODING:
- Laser Marking:
- Attention to detail is one of Pagnoni Tools’ distinctive values.
- Before being put into storage, each CNC component and spindle undergoes precision laser marking, a process that ensures product quality, traceability, and customization.
- The company can faithfully reproduce any logo or graphic element provided by the customer, offering customized solutions that enhance every detail with professional finishes.
